As a young commercial photographer, I would explore the city during walks on weekends looking for interesting visual arrangements I could capture on film.
Now, decades later, I enjoy similar explorations through Chicago’s neighborhoods as well as the city center. I am particularly interested in finding points-of-view that are different than those commonly seen. Looking for a unique angle, or location that captures the buildings and other elements of the cityscape into a fresh relationship.
While studying advertising and graphic design, I became interested in searching out graphic design elements as they present themselves in the environment. I enjoy searching for these elements with my camera; everything from a cloud formation to a building among its neighbors in the city.
I work as a freelance commercial photographer, shooting architecture, luxury real estate, portraits and general projects ranging from jewelry to industrial machinery.
